How it works

  1. 1

    Add it to Chrome

One click from the Chrome Web Store. A welcome tab opens where you can test every character.

  2. 2

    Choose your night

Night 1 scares you every 20–60 minutes. Night 6 every 30–90 seconds. Nights 3 and 5 sit in between.

  3. 3

    Forget about it

Keep browsing. When you least expect it, someone from the pizzeria comes for you.

What you get

21 animatronics

Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Golden Freddy, the FNAF 2 toys and withered crew, Springtrap, and the Security Breach Glamrocks.

Smooth, full-screen scares

60 fps cut-outs that jump straight onto the page you’re reading, ending in a burst of camera static.

You stay in control

Pause for an hour, set the volume, pick characters, or keep scares away from sites like video calls.

Nothing leaves your computer

Settings are stored in your browser. The extension sends no data anywhere and works offline.

Questions

Is the FNAF Jumpscare extension free?

Yes. There are no ads, no paid tiers and no account.

How do I turn the jumpscares off?

Click the extension icon in Chrome’s toolbar and flip the switch. You can also pause scares for one hour or remove the extension from chrome://extensions.

Will it scare me during a video call?

Not on Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Whereby — those are skipped by default. You can skip any other site from the toolbar menu.

Does it work on every website?

It works on normal web pages. Chrome doesn’t let extensions run on its own pages, such as settings, the new tab page or the Web Store.

Can I use it to prank a friend?

Sure, as long as they’re fine with jump scares. Show them where the off switch is afterwards.

Is this an official Five Nights at Freddy’s product?

No. It’s a free fan-made extension and isn’t affiliated with Scott Cawthon or Five Nights at Freddy’s.
